Initiate Futures aims to understand and analyze shortcomings in governmental public policymaking to local populations at federal and provincial levels. 

Our objective is to:

  1. Analyze performance of government deliverables, ministries, local administrations and law enforcement agencies, identify policy gaps and offer action-oriented solutions. 

  1. Map out socioeconomic indicators affected by public policy shortcomings. 

Our team can also examine key connectivity strategies, including the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) to identify new growth points and support collaborations across infrastructure, climate, energy, transport and the digital economy.

Public Policy for Social Good

We deliver intelligent insights into social care, human rights, social protection and public service delivery to help our clients make effective decisions. We believe there is a dire need to maintain social well-being and achieve the highest level of human development for societies. Such maintenance needs to be anchored in equitable distribution of resources through public policymaking, which is a key priority area of Initiate Futures. 

Climate Change

We focus on themes such as climate financing, adaptation, climate-resilient infrastructure, cleaner and affordable energy, green growth and disaster preparedness at the local, national and regional levels. Through a network of collaborations and innovative projects, we generate space for informed policy decisions on key climate action targets to support sustainable development progress. 

Through a cross-sectoral approach, which links long-term physical, environmental and human security across landscapes, Initiate Futures examines the underlying causes of climate change and analyzes the impact of climate change policies affecting communities. We focus on the following three areas for sustainable energy systems and climate resilience leading to improvement in the livelihoods of all citizens:

Gender, Democracy, Human Rights and Inclusion

We examine the prevalence of gender-based violence facing marginalized groups, including women, children and ethnic minorities through in-depth research. Our team works to address challenges to Pakistan’s democracy, functionality and ability to safeguard human rights. Inclusivity challenges are also examined.

Youth Engagement and Mobilization

We are dedicated to resolving issues for next generations including youth unemployment, structural violence, indoctrination, trafficking and youth immobilization. Initiate Futures takes pride in analyzing gaps between governmental policymaking and its impact on youth empowerment.

Arts and Culture

Our team values research on arts and cultures spanning music, performances, painting, sculpting, heritage and artifacts to promote soft power diplomacy across countries and support creativity and learning of diverse cultures.
